I'm honored to be a part of the second APIDA (Asian Pacific Islander Desi American) artist group show at Leanna Lin's Wonderland curated by Genevieve Santos of Le Petit Elefant.
"The Very Asian 2 Art Show: AAPI Artists Celebrating Trailblazers, Heroes, and Dreamers."
For this show, I drew inspiration from the video recently released in the news about the "world's deepest fish" — unknown snailfish species of the genus Pseudoliparis — that was recorded at a depth of five miles in the Izu-Ogasawara Trench (south of Japan in the Pacific Ocean). This was a joint project between the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology and the University of Western Australia.
You can view my work at the IG Live Gallery Preview on May 5, and for the full run of the show May 6 to June 24. (All info below.)
Note: A portion of the art sales during the show run will be donated to the Very Asian Foundation, whose mission is to shine a light on Asian experiences through advocacy and celebration.
