White Plains artist Erwin Ong's piece Blob Party was selected for the 16th Annual Yonkers Artist Showcase, hosted by Yonkers Arts. This annual celebration highlights the creativity and diversity of artists living and working in the city and surrounding areas.
About the Show
The Yonkers Artist Showcase brings together a wide variety of local talent across disciplines, offering a snapshot of the vibrant art scene just north of New York City. Now in its 16th year, the show includes sculpture, painting, photography, mixed media, and more—reflecting the stories, dreams, and energy of the region’s artists. Presented in the Yonkers Arts Project Space, the exhibition is a free and welcoming opportunity for neighbors and visitors to experience the arts in community.

Blob Party (16" H × 20" W)
Blob Party is a joyful exploration of shape, movement, and emotion. With bright, interlocking forms that almost seem to dance across the page, this piece is part of my ongoing series experimenting with abstraction, play, and the emotional weight of color. Like many of my works, it invites curiosity and a little smile.
