Exhibition: "Keep Going, Keep Growing" by Erwin Ong

Life moves quickly. It's easy to lose sight of the values we want to live by when our attention is pulled in a hundred different directions.

Keep Going, Keep Growing is a collection of illustrations inspired by the motivational posters I grew up seeing in classrooms and offices throughout the 1990s. These reimagined posters combine playful imagery with simple messages that celebrate patience, curiosity, connection, resilience, and community.

Created as daily reminders rather than grand declarations, these pieces are meant to live alongside everyday life—in a home office, hallway, classroom, studio, or reading nook—offering a moment of encouragement whenever you happen to pass by.

Each illustration begins as a hand-drawn artwork created on my iPad using the same drawing process I use in my sketchbooks. The finished artwork is reproduced using high-quality archival pigment inks on fine art paper to preserve the detail and vibrancy of the original drawing.

I hope these illustrations bring a little encouragement, comfort, and perspective to your day, and help you stay connected to your humanity, your neighbors, and your community.
