Celebrate SoNo and South Norwalk, Connecticut with an art print inspired by its connection to the water. The letters of “SONO” are built from playful undersea forms: a long fish or eel curves into the S, an oyster forms the first O, coral grows into the shape of an N, and two fish circle each other to create the final O. Underneath, “CONNECTICUT” is written by hand.
Originally illustrated and hand-lettered by artist Erwin Ong, the design turns the name of this waterfront Connecticut neighborhood into its own little underwater world. The 8" × 10" format makes it easy to display on a gallery wall, shelf, desk, or alongside other artwork celebrating favorite places.
